Using the address "12228 Venice Blvd, Suite 102 / Los Angeles, CA 90066", William is taking on projects under this new name. The usual MO of no real idenitifying information can be found at http://ladesignandcoding.com/.
Recently he has been hounded by police in the Cincinnati area over cell phone repair scamming(suddenly moved and was lost again), but it is unclear if Los Angeles is another fake business location like Seattle Outsource, or if California associate Freddie Avila is in the mix. If anyone has information to confirm his whereabouts, please let us know and we will forward it to the authorities and alleged victims.
According to the most recent complaint sent to us, he no longer uses PayPal, and his Green Dot account may be cancelled or suspended as of today. The alleged victim cancelled the transaction and is awaiting refund.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI should of done more research but I was a victim of this guy too! I recently lost money in a scam to this guy in LA. I made a check payable to Freddie Avila (also met him in person). I filed a rip-off report and discovered someone else who suffered the same thing (http://www.ripoffreport.com/programmers/la-design-and-coding/la-design-and-coding-www-lades-ec57c.htm)
In terms of location, he's in Mountain View, CA (with IP Address: 209.85.161.176). As for contact information, here's the latest cell number and email: 323-739-4167 / william@ladesignandcoding.com
I've saved all my cell texts and emails. Let me know what you guys uncover!
I cant believe that this bastard is still ripping people off. William Franklin owes me over $10,000.00 for work I completed for him and his clients back in 2010 here in the Cincinnati area. He left me and my family hanging badly. Last I heard, he was hiding in Covington Ky.
ReplyDeleteThe Cincinnati and Kentucky Sheriffs Dept as well as one of Cincy's upper end Law firms would be very interested in talking with this guy, pronto!!!!!
Im willing to share everything I have on this guy in order to aid in his capture: emails, text messages, contracts, past client information, etc.
Please fell free to contact me.

William Franklin Conned me too. Thank G-d it was only $250. In any event, money doesn't grow on trees and the sob also burned me on some credit card charges which I am going to charge back. I should have looked on the Internet first. He does sound very knowledgeable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting all of this. I just about hired William to do some work for me here in LA... dodged a big bullet there!!
